UK drivers spent over £100k in two weeks on air con servicing due to heatwave

The UK’s biggest online garage and car repair marketplace has revealed that drivers in the UK have spent more than £100k on air conditioning services in the last two weeks due to the heatwave. Based on internal data, 2,862 air conditioning jobs were posted on site since 11th June 2018. 3.1 million vehicles were registered for the first time in Great Britain in 2017 – a fall of 6%. During 2017, over 53,000 new ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs) were registered in the UK.
