Spain introduces environmental zones!
Get informed on www.distintivo-ambiental.es! Since last year, there is an environmental zone in Barcelona preventing many vehicle types from entering the city centre in case of an air pollution peak. In Madrid, the rules have also been tightened on 01.11.2018. Three distinct zones can be activated under different scenarios. In the city centre, vehicles are permanently excluded from traffic.
