CAMERAS TO ENFORCE MOTORWAY RED ‘X’ OFFENCES FROM JUNE – AA
Drivers who flout lanes closed on motorways with a red ‘X’ may be handed a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) of £100 fine and 3 penalty points from 10 June 2019 according to legislation laid by the Home Office* earlier this week. At present, only a police officer catching drivers in the act can issue the FPN.
