Stores ‘pack' together to make doggie donations
A total of £400 and 13 boxes of dog food were donated to the Isle of Wight's branch of the RSPCA after an appeal for help.The appeal was made shortly after the news that 65 dogs were seized from a van and house on the Island.Colleagues at the local Southern Co-op's food stores immediately wanted to help.With a number of them also volunteers at the centre, they knew that the shelter was really struggling to accommodate the large number of dogs.Neil Riley, Manager of The Co-operative Food - Fr...
